Terms for the MIDI Rescue Service
The paid self-service offer currently available is the MIDI Rescue Service. Public software licence checkout and public software downloads remain closed.
Service and price
Total price: €39. One-time payment by PayPal. No subscription and no shipping charge. The service covers one .mid or .midi file up to 10 MB, a human-assisted diagnostic review, and a repaired Standard MIDI output where technically possible. A software licence is not included.
Customer file and delivery
After payment, send the MIDI file to admin@aeplatform.app with the order number in the subject. Work starts when the file is received. Delivery is due within two business days after file receipt. Business days are Monday to Friday excluding public holidays applicable at the provider location.
Full recovery cannot be guaranteed where musical data is missing, destroyed or technically unrecoverable. If no meaningful service can be performed, the customer will be informed and the statutory and contractual refund rights remain unaffected.
Contract formation
The contract is concluded when the PayPal payment is successfully captured after the customer submits the order. The order page provides the essential service characteristics, total price, payment method and delivery conditions immediately before the paid order.
Immediate performance and withdrawal
Consumers retain the statutory withdrawal right. The checkout asks separately whether the customer expressly requests performance before the 14-day withdrawal period expires and confirms knowledge that the withdrawal right expires once the service has been fully performed. If the consumer withdraws after expressly requesting early performance, statutory rules on proportionate compensation for services already performed may apply.

Customer responsibility
The customer must have the right to submit the file and must not submit unlawful third-party material. Statutory consumer rights and mandatory law remain unaffected. German law applies to the extent legally permitted; mandatory consumer protection rules of the consumer's country of residence remain unaffected.
